Angel McCormick-Rodriguez is a Gainesville, Florida, native. She graduated from Eastside High School before earning her degree from the University of Florida, where she obtained a bachelor’s degree in Public Relations with a minor in Marketing.

Angel is married to David Rodriguez, also a Gainesville resident, who served in the United States Navy. During his time in the military, they relocated to Boston, Massachusetts, where Angel worked for one of the top insurance brokers in the world, gaining valuable industry insight. Angel and her husband later moved to Norfolk, Virginia, where she worked for a prominent defense contracting firm.

Upon returning to Gainesville, Angel immediately began her career with Bagen Law. Drawing on her educational background and diverse professional experience, Angel has contributed across virtually every aspect of the firm’s operations, including marketing and advertising, investigation, human resources, pre-litigation negotiation, facilities management, as well as general management of the firm. Angel has been an integral part of the firm’s growth from a small local practice into a full-service plaintiffs’ personal injury firm with multiple offices throughout North Florida.

In addition to working full-time, Angel has been an active volunteer outside of the office. She has served as president, vice-president, as well many other roles on local PTA boards. She led a Girl Scout troop for several years, taking her troop on countless trips to prepare meals for the homeless, volunteer at local nursing homes, and tour behind the scenes of many local businesses. Angel has also volunteered for Stop Children’s Cancer as well as many other local non-profit organizations.

In her spare time, Angel enjoys spending time with her husband, who retired from law enforcement, and her two daughters and their families, which include six grand-daughters. Her interests also include real-estate, home renovation and design, traveling, and boating.
